Since 1980, PONY has been putting a lot of effort in R&D to continuously improve the products quality, the efficiency of the production, and reduce the impact on the environment.

The DMF solvent recycling system was commissioned in 1984. Over the years, we acquired ISO14001, ISO9001, and the Gold Medal from the BLC Leather Technology Center, recognizing our team’s efforts in quality and environmental protection.

In recent years, we have been invited by Nike, Timberland, KEEN and other brands to participate in various audits related to social responsibility including environmental protection and employee benefits.

The PONY R&D Lab collaborates closely with brands to translate their creative ideas into final products through working on new blends of PU resin applied to an immense variety of release papers. Embossing, printing, two-tone PU films, and PONY’s proprietary techniques to produce 3D reflective materials provide endless creative possibilities to product designers and material designers at major footwear and fashion brands.
